Dip me deep in the well of Refreshing
Pass the spring waters to the healing waters.
Deep me into the inkwell of love.
Fill my glass with new wine and there
Blot out my transgressions.
Deep me until the fibers of my being
Are saturated with the sweetness of your word.
Make note of my mental deficiences.
Sprinkle me with lovingkindness.
Quilt me with loving thread.
Tuck me in and bind my seams
Hem me at the raw edges.
Let my well water collide with your holy water.
Sift me until I'm safe.
Rinse me until the water runs clear
Hammer me until I fit the frame.
Rock me until my cries are abated.
Love me until the ring of fear breaks.
